Our first community concert at Musical Between in 2009. Opening~the performances of 3 individual clients; David, Luke and Frances among our wonderful clients.

We held a second concert to appeal for the Tohoku Tsunami and Earthquake (2011) on April 5th, 2014. The theme this year was "Ghibli" and Japanese anime music. with a children's choir, dance and instrumental performances, including some special traditional music and Karate. The fund raised from the concert was donated to the Relief Fund established by Tohoku Music Therapy Project, Ekollon, which helps people in affected areas within the Tohoku region, through music.

In the year of the Tohoku Tsunami and Earthquake (2011) we held a charity concert "Sprit of Japan". Music Therapist, Izumi, co-ordinated singing, instrumental and Karate performances by students and friends to the backdrop of beautiful Japanese scenery displayed on screen.

This is a free improvisation with pictures of Japanese scenery. It's dual recording of piano & flute (both on a keyboard). I used part of the melody of Japanese nursery rhyme 'Sacchan' with my nostalgia. I took the photos in Izu, Hinode, Akiruno, Kurama, and Nabari.
